Who Are You?

My name is Plague_tsc. The “tsc” in my name is an acronym for Trip Six Clique, which is my clothing brand.

How long have you been making music?

Okay, so I was never one of those people that had been dreaming of doing music since I was a kid. I didn’t obsess over it when I was little. One day I just woke up and decided that I didn’t want to work a normal 9-5 while living check to check until the age of 70, so I decided to give music a go. I started writing verses in late 2015 and started recording in 2016, so for about 4 and a half years, give or take. But it’s absolutely a passion and is definitely an obsession of mine now.

What do you in your free time?

Before music, there was graffiti. Painting is one of my all time favorite things to do, and art in general is something that I find super relaxing. I’ve been doing graff since I was around 6 years old so it’s always been a huge part of who I am as a person. Met some amazing friends through it as well. Graffiti was there before music and it’ll be there after. And also anything involving horror (movies, books, etc).

Any new releases coming soon?

Yeah for sure. I have two collab EP’s in the works – one with a long time friend named Big Lazy and one with the newest Murder Musick member, Lex Lethal. Big Lazy has one of those voices that makes you want to drink a fifth of whiskey and reflect on all of the mistakes you’ve made in your life. And Lex Lethal is like a savage as hell Viking from Norway. Two extremely talented individuals. Also plenty of singles on the way as well

Fun Fact?

I actually came up with my artist name during English class my sophomore year in High School haha. We were reading about the Bubonic Plague and then it hit me. And then boom, I was Plague. But I actually played around with a few different names before settling on it – Sirius, Sadiistic, and Blvk Deth. Not a lot of people know that one.

Favorite Food?

Oh, man. This is a tough one. I really fuck with Chili. Fried chicken, tacos, mac n cheese. Just really good comfort food that you can make for your friends and family that everyone will enjoy. Favorite desert definitely has to be cheesecake. I always ask people, if they were on death row what would their last meal be. It’s interesting to hear other people’s answers. I don’t know why but it just is to me.

Influences?

Tech N9ne, Twista, and Bone Thugs were my original influences as far as chopping goes. And then Rittz and King Iso solidified my love for the craft. But my biggest inspiration was XXXTentacion. The message he brought with his music and the obstacles he had overcame by the time I found his music inspired me to really put my all into this music shit and give it everything I have. Definitely changed my life for the better when I found his music. Rest In Peace to a legend.

Favorite song you’ve made?

Probably WRAITH. Simply for the fact that I just gas on that for 2 and a half minutes straight with nothing but hard hitting bars and crazy flow switch ups. It was definitely a fun track to write and record because the whole purpose of it was to just rap my ass off. My favorite collab is definitely with Rittz. What do you want people to know about you about you?

That I’m just a normal person just like they are. That if you see me in public, you don’t have to be afraid to ask for a picture or just to stop and have a quick chat. I try my best to make time for all of my fans and supporters. Also, don’t fuck with animals.

Favorite Cartoon?

Scooby-Doo was always lit to me, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy – any horror themed cartoons really.

If you could have a special power what would it be & why?

The ability to talk to animals. Just think if you befriended an entire pride of lions or a herd of fucking elephants. No one would challenge you. You don’t like me? Eat my ass I have a fucking Lion as a best friend. Wanna go swimming? I’ll have 8 of my dolphin friends take us on a nice cruise in the Pacific Ocean.
